Rutabaga: The Adventure Chef HC– Rutabaga follows the adventures of Rutabaga (duh), an excitable little chef who wants to follow adventurers around so he can cook them up the finest and rarest courses that any fantasy world can offer. That includes dragon eggs, Roasted Mud Leech, Ghost Mushroom Salad, and other dishes so good they can be served to the gods (and in fact, are sometimes).

Avengers & New Avengers
OK! Now that Secret Wars has started, I actually have to backtrack a little on some reading. I’ve already read Secret Wars #1, but there are a looooooooot of things in that book that are not new reader friendly and I really should have been reviewing the Avengers and new Avengers titles when I started this whole series of reviews.

Last of the Sandwalkers, Ant-Man, & Jem
The Last of the Sandwalkers GN- Years ago Jay Hosler did a couple series, Clan Apis and Sandwalk Adventures, which are sadly out of print and a little tricky to come by now. Clan Apis followed the life cycle of a bee while Sandwalk Adventures focused on Charles Darwin and a hair mite living in in his eyebrow having conversations about God, evolution, and so on. Both series were fantastic, and remain as a couple of my favorite small press graphic novels of all time.

So I didn’t review and of the previous parts of Multiversity partially because I wasn’t sure if it would tie in at all to anything DC was doing and also because it was well in full swing so I felt weird jumping in towards the last half of the event.
